Same applies to extensive mods to a Twin. You can reach a point where the result is so far from the stock performance that all you really have is a Twin shaped, custom car.
Oh, and there is zero reason that the latest and greatest version of this or any other car would automatically be presumed to be faster or better then previous versions. I have said several times that many great cars have been "improved" right out of their original purpose and abilities.

Alright, you got me. I should have quantified & clarified what I meant by "modified". I was thinking really basic things just to even up the playing field (ex. TRD 86). Or at least have the same driver drive the cars back to back for some hot laps instead of having drivers with difference levels of experience or driving styles.
