I realize this topic (the new front end) has been hashed over to death, but have to chime in and agree it's everything (opinion, of course) the 86 shouldn't be.
What appeals/appealed to me about the design is/was it's simple aesthetic, and the new front end (in photos, haven't seen it in person) goes against everything I thought this vehicle was supposed to be about.
Same goes for the new "grand luxe" (sp?) dash and door materials. I don't like (or get) the idea of adding faux suede. Toyota seems to have gone insane w/ this facelift.
