From what I've seen of SPL products and what's pictured here, the amount of titanium components is actually pretty small, a couple nuts and washers. The major piece parts, rods/arms, joints, and bolts are usually typical aluminum and steel. I'd be surprised if SPL could discount the parts by more than $20-$50 by swapping out all the Ti hardware.
The money goes into engineering, quality control, marketing, and compensating for relatively small production runs. Like their rear lower control arm, I'm positive the big black arms SPL makes are standard 6061 anodized Aluminum for both their lower control arms on the 86.
