Called back today though and said they wouldn't cover it because of my oil cooler. They mentioned my intercooler as well that I left on from my supercharger I asked what that had to do with cam gears and they backed down on that one and just said that the cam gear problem could be caused by oil flow issues so the oil cooler could be at fault and they wouldn't cover it, $3,033 if I wanted them to do it anyway. So much for the dealer, now on to independent shops.

They would have to prove it was caused by an oil cooler. They won't because it's bullshit.
