You're right, the noise is the abs engaging when I'm turning. If I turn off the traction control the problem goes away.

I've been advised that the traction control is activating when I turn because since I'm wider and the steering is much quicker in the front the ecu is detecting the front and rear wheels at different speeds and trying to correct by applying the rear brakes.
