I like the design of that kit, but with it you've changed the steering ratio. I'm not sure how happy the traction control will be about that. The wheel speeds at a given steering angle will not match what the T/C computer expects.
The noise is the ABS. This fires up when the traction control grabs the brakes for you.

You're right, the noise is the abs engaging when I'm turning. If I turn off the traction control the problem goes away.
I've been advised that the traction control is activating when I turn because since I'm wider and the steering is much quicker in the front the ecu is detecting the front and rear wheels at different speeds and trying to correct by applying the rear brakes.
