I drove mine for a while (until I paid it off) before I did anything to mine.
I think that made me appreciate the OFT stage 1 93 octane OTS tune a lot more than if I wasn't intimately familiar with how she runs.
Only other thing I did was add DRLs and that's only because I didn't have fogs like yours and it was a cheap fix for some front end damage.
