Also 2" drop is far from mild drop. Be ready to also buy other suspension parts, eg. for roll center correction, diff rising and so on.
One can get comfortable enough ride on higher drop levels vs far from ideal stock shocks and with big enough investments, but please, don't mention "importance of function". Reducing already low stock ground clearance and shock bumpless travel by 2", at least if daily driving is considered, is far from valuing function over form. Yes, you can reach that drop goal, but be truthful to yourself & be ready to sacrifice things in process to reach your goal of low drop (probably for bling/visual "form" purposes over "function").
