Edit: The #2 plaque would be aftermarket, one wasn't provided by Scion, @ Dadhawk is the only first 86 winner I recognize as still active who would be able to tell if Scion ever delivered on that front.

Correct, when we went to Long Beach for the test drive/drift event the group voted to have all the in-car identifiers numbered "1 of 86" rather than individually numbered. Primarily it is because only two people would have been happy, the "1 of 86" and the "86 of 86".
They did number the remaining "limited edition" items. I am "3 of 86" but I'm not sure how they selected the numbers, probably random.
