I don't think it would make any difference. It's not so much the gasket (as long as it fits) as how the header is tighten up against the head.
I'd make sure the header fits snug (when it is relaxed) put the gasket in place, then tighten the nuts, moving from one to the other, a little at a time, until they are "manifold nuts tight" ...... or your favorite torque specification.
Heck, back in the day, we used to "make" (cut our own) manifold gaskets out of a sheet of asbestos. Be damned the dust ...... we were bullet proof .... actually we didn't know .....
