Upon further research, I have been victim of a typo on my reference site. AT 3rd gear is actually 1.404, not 1.104 like I used in my calculations. I apologize. I used the wrong data to come to my conclusions. I also found 3 sites claiming the AT had the exact same 3rd gear ratio as the MT, so it's not hard to get the wrong data. See my signature below for what happens with the right calculations and the wrong data.
