I have a 2015 Lexus IS 350 f sport w/ 306 hp and just put in an order on a 2017 BRZ. This will be the least powerful car I've owned in over 20 years. In fact even this lexus was a step down for me in power. I've had Porsches, M3s, etc for a long time. I guess I've gotten a bit bored of wasting tons of money on all these big/powerful cars and yearn for the light, nimble, simpler cars of the older days. I was going to buy the new M2, then drove the BRZ on a fluke and realized I would have just as much fun in it. Probably more, because I can track it all the time and thrash it around and not worry about maintenance costs. People today often say it's slow, but 20 years ago 205 hp was a monster. Maybe I am a dinosaur, but I think 205hp is plenty for a light car like this.
