Well, when I am driving to work or dropping my kids off at school, I'm not driving like a nut. I'm not "driving it properly" every time I get in. I have a performance car so that when I WANT to "drive it properly" I can. but that isn't all the time, so I expect to average around 30 MPG with a 4 banger.
