Tcoat yeah, only thing I don't like about it, and this may only be a contractor thing, is that it's so hard to actually get work done between needing 3 or 4 permits to get onto some sites (there goes 2 hours of your day), crazy safety requirements (specifically for the job I do, which most people in oil and gas know nothing about, and people fear the unknown) and the general annoyance of trying to navigate massive plants that you've never been in before.
Adding to that, you need to wear spoggles (foam lined safety glasses). Which are the absolute most uncomfortable things I've ever worn.
But, to put up with all that and make $40ish an hour? Entirely worth it.
