I drove a friend's GT4 at The Ridge last Saturday back to back with my JRSC BRZ, both on 80TW tires and the GT4 was WAY faster than my BRZ. The GT4 puts the power down coming out of corners in a way the 86's never will given the front weight bias. In the end, I still find the 86's the most fun track car I've driven

What if you equalized the rear grip?
I can prescribe some rear geometry changes to suit 400 crank hp better than the stock/stockish setup in the rear.
