Nah I wouldn't do that. He would catch up a little on the straights but then a corner would come up and he would just fall behind. He also wanted to pass me in no passing zones which if he was close I wouldn't let him pass anyway. The SCCA organizer heard about this and he was sanctioned somehow and the organizer apologized to me for his attitude and others on track backed me up on what they saw.
