Btw was your tsx tuned in any way? Because my vtec didn't kick in until 6000rpm which I don't hit much so it was almost useless to me.

I had 2006 TSX 6spd as well for about a year and for me the car is just too heavy for the engine.
Also the K24A2 in TSX had VTEC engage rpm so high (6200 rpm) and redline so low (7300) that by the time you hit VTEC you have to shift into next gear.
And the gearing in that car didn't help the engine either, especially going from first to second.
When I shifted from redline in first gear to second gear, the rpm dropped all the way down to 4500 rpm where there was no power or torque available.
I had 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i 6spd (230hp) along with the TSX and TSX just felt really really slow.
Anyway, going back to topic, I bought 2016 Audi SQ5 right before I bought my FR-S.
SQ5 is very fast for a small crossover. It is definitely faster than my previous car which is 2016 WRX with stage 1 tune. But it is a crossover so very tall and heavy.
FR-S is complete opposite of that car. Low and light but slow in acceleration.
But my daily is FR-S because with SQ5, I can't enjoy the best part about the car without breaking the law. With FR-S, it is just fun all around to drive, and no need to worry too much about breaking the speed limit.
