Z or twin?
My Z was almost a science project when it got totaled. (Well prepped STU car) It had a lot of NVH, so it could have had that noise and I may not have noticed.
Before I prepped for STU I had a leightweight flywheel that sounded like rocks in a barrell at idle.
My FRS has the "crickets" sometimes, but it doesn't bother me.
