That's really interesting, as now I've heard 4 different time frames on the PP package: September, November, January, and March. Anyone know if Subaru would be releasing official info on this soon?

The official Subaru statement is "The Premium and Limited models will begin arriving at retailers in early September while the Limited with the Performance Package will arrive at retailers
Winter 2017".
There were other official Subaru press releases that said March (which could be considered "winter" in someplace) so I would not be holding my breath for one.
EDIT - Found it. "The 2017 BRZ Premium and Limited models will begin arriving at retailers in September while Performance Package-equipped and Series.Yellow will arrive at retailers
early 2017.
March sounds most likely.
