Well, the heat may be affecting the hydraulic clutch feel if there is some air in the lines. If that's the case, bleeding the system would eliminate that possibility.
As far as the increased lag with higher temperatures, other than noting that warmer air carries less oxygen, I'm really not sure.
Captain obvious is asking if you're running the A/C more ..... ??
