Dunno about the driveshafts, but the crank pulley makes a palpable difference in driveability (i.e easier to blip throttle for rev-matching, less lag on throttle and building revs).

For me, it was whether or not to install the TRD shifter and MTEC shift springs myself, or pay someone else to do it. Ended up doing it myself and never regretted it.
