Wheels, drop, stereo, sound deadening, tint, bodykit.. looking at 4000+. Money that could go towards an e90 m3, c63, or cla45.
What would those do that your FRS doesn't? They're definitely more luxurious, quieter inside, and faster. They're probably less wearing on long commutes. New BMWs and Mercedes should have maintenance plans, so that's not an issue. The gas mileage will probably be a little (lot?) worse. Will they be as fun to drive? How important is "fun to drive" for your daily driver compared to noise and comfort? Then what does your FRS do that those wouldn't? The reviews I read when our car came out said it was the best driver's car short of a Carrera 4s, but how important is that compared to the other desires for a daily driver? What about a Carrera 4s? The mileage isn't great, but it's very nice inside and a blast to drive. And PASM makes for a very comfortable ride.

Asphalt grey makes wheel choice hard. There's the plain old silver, but everyone has silver. You could go gunmetal or black, but it just blends in with the rest of the car, where on a white or red car it would stand out. You really only have gold or bronze, or esoteric colors like Volk's velvet blue and red. Which would look amazing against the grey, but they're expensive and a pain to keep clean.
