I'm in Michigan, so we get just "a little bit of snow". I drove mine on Blizzaks all last winter, worked like a charm. Traction is there if you want/need it, just don't floor the throttle and smooth steering inputs. You can also have some fun sliding around when needed! (highly recommended)
