Please update OP regarding seat belt assembly that the belt has to be held by clip or something prior to removing the assembly otherwise, seat belt will roll up extra few inches then you will end up with locked retractor.

Also, I have an idea about supporting the bottom panels by using "Instapak quick". It will not support super heavy weight, but it seems good enough to support wheels and tires.
