You're in California, stick with kits that are street legal and CARB certified. Thus far as a bonus to being street legal they have all been very reliable: Edelbrock, Jackson Racing, Vortech, and Innovate. Works has a CARB legal turbocharger as well.
Installing aftermarket parts that are not emissions legal in California has a maximum fine of $5,000.
