Camber, otherwise you'll chew up those nice new tires that should last two seasons.
And going up to -3 degrees of camber is absolutely beneficial even on an otherwise entirely stock setup, I really liked my car when it was totally stock with the exception of camber plates and tires and brake pads. I enjoyed the camber plate upgrade more than going from OE tires to Dunlop Z2SS.
For raw performance today, tires absolutely win out, but for developing a competitive autocross car, start working out the alignment first before burning up good tires farting around IMO.
