If you're using the clutch "properly" and it doesn't slip under maximum engine torque then expect it to live a long healthy life. Replace your TOB before it starts to seize and take out your pressure plate.
The stock clutch was specified according to the rated capacity of the transmission. It's supposed to let go before the transmission grenades under max torque.
