My first car was an '84 Camaro... Within 2 weeks of buying it and getting my license (this was 8 years ago now,) I oversteered at 45mph on a damp 45mph corner. Naturally being 17 and having had my license for all of 2 weeks, I didn't know how to react and ended up fishtailing into a hill. Minimal damage, just injured pride, a dent that I pulled out using a wet plunger, and several weeks of repeated flat tires on the passenger side before we got the beads cleaned out properly. Taught me to respect the RWD though.
Did I mention this was the 92hp/130lbft I4 with over 250k miles on it? I'd be kidding myself if I said I had more than 50hp/75lbft. More proof that 200hp/150lbft is more than enough to lose control; the 86 is WAY lighter than that beast was.

Neutral: For the love of god tell me you had GAP on your loan. I learned that expensive lesson on a later car; thankfully that car only cost me $4000 so I only lost $500 when I got rear ended at a stop light.

Unless someone else backs one into a pole, then he might get their parts
