I have just picked up a used FRS to do some stock-c auto-x and HPDE days, The car will also be driven on weekends <10k/yr .Both myself and wife are novices. What would your recommendation be for a good all around tire and size for the stock 17x7 wheels? The RE-71R and Z2-SS seem to be the popular choices and 215/45, 225,45, 235/40 the most used sizing. In regards to brake pads, will a dual purpose compound suffice? Could you recommend a specific pad to meet my needs? Thanks
