Just a thought.
turn car ignition full on , two pushes of start button
the make sure cruise control is off
then pull back on cruise stalk, does tacometer go too 1000, 2000,3000,4000 ?
if so you likely have ecuteck tune
some tuners have a valet or safe mode which may prevent car starting.
