I don't know but would suspect that they were always registered as toyotas here. We did not have them here long since Scion only came to Canada in 2011 and only major cities even had actual independent Scion dealers with all the rest sold from a corner of a Toyota dealership. To take it a step further the iA never was a Scion here. They were Yaris sedans right from the start.
