Two reasons
1. No Track Insurance of any kind available
2. First sentence of the track waiver everyone will be required to sign states: "In consideration of being permitted in RACING PROGRAMS, ......"

My insurance company would drop me in an instant if I were involved in any type of accident while participating in this event. I have conferred with them.

Can I sell my spot?
And your insurance company wouldn't drop you if you got in an accident going around a corner at 80mph on a normal road? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be pleased about that either.

^this. The point of a track is for it to be a safe place to go fast. A place where the only people on the surface you are driving on are people who are there to all do the same thing. Don't have to worry about animals running across traffic, kids falling into the street, bicyclists being caught in the next corner apex, etc...
