I think I'll step in purely because this is BS.

New or used, your car has a warranty, from the date of its original purchase. If you got an unwind, then you lost some of the time on your warranty, but that doesn't matter because your car is still under the warranty.

That service manager is full of crap.

It sounds like a lawyer may be a good way to go, but in the meantime, keep SoA in the loop. They won't be happy with both your selling dealer and your current dealer.
