My heart broke when I saw the torque graph still showing the torque dip in the attached picture....

By the way, The 2016 "S" model, which was the top model, is listed at Yen 2,926,800

http://www.subaru.jp/brz/brz/grade/s.html

It sits between the 2017 "S" model which comes in at Yen 2,750,000 and the 2017 top model "GT" which equipped with Brembo brakes and Sachs dampers at Yen 3,070,000.

The new "S" model is better equipped compared to the old "S" model. That means the 2017 MY is cheaper than 2016 MY in Japan.

If I were in the Japanese market however, I would choose the GT in a heartbeat because of very minimal price difference between the 2016 "S" and the 2017 GT.

All in all, very good pricing strategy!!
