Why the fuck is it the hardest bolt I've ever tried to break, all I've managed to do is strip the damn nut. Any tips on how to break the nut free?

I ended up getting it done right, was a huge pain in the ass for me. Question though, once you have it done is it supposed to feel smushy, and if so I'm assuming the Mtec spring fixes this issue?
