I didn't say a larger foot print would not stop you shorter I said a larger footprint with OEM brakes will stop you in the same distance as with larger brakes.


Again, the OEM brakes are designed to hold longer than the tires will hold grip. Having anything bigger gives no advantage until heat becomes involved. End of story.


There is a huge advantage to having bigger brakes in a racing situation but that does not transfer over to regular driving.
