There are no spacers in my o2 sensors. There is two right on the header when u look down from ontop. I can email photos? You say one SHOULD havea spacer? Or are you speaking o2 sensors furth down the line? Are there more on the frs or is it just the two upfront. I am catless aswell

if this is your header below it looks like its got an inbuilt spacer on the rear o2 sensor that probably the reason you not getting the P0420 code on the stock tune. So we can probably eliminate that.
As long as their is no spacer on FRONT 02 sensor all is good.
Usually if you have an exhaust leak in header/overpipe or near o2 sensors you will smell exhaust fumes under the bonnet with engine running, or see water dripping on cold start or stains or black soot at joins/cracks
If you look at the header flanges on the photo below you will see one side is clean and one side has black soot, that header was most likely leaking at that joint, that soot would usually be visible at the joint (externally) when header installed
The ticking in motor your talking about might be an exhaust leak, or it might be the fuel injectors.
you can use a long handled screwdriver as a stethoscope to track down the noise. shove one end on the area you want to listen to and the other end in your ear (its usually best to use the big plastic end for your ear :-)
Just also check the grey plug does to grey socket and blak plug to black socket on the 02 sensors where they plug in to car wiring
The GREY plug should be the Primary 02 (first o2 sensor in exhaust flow)
their are only 2 02 sensors
It most likely the injen intake or maf sensor issue.
