You are about to get a ton of differing opinions, none of which will really help you. I will provide my own thought process and hope it helps you a little.
After owning my car for almost a year now, I am still running stock tails. I was originally thinking of getting a smoked tail light because I liked how clean it looked on our color. I decided against it because it really reduces the visibility to the rear (you will come to learn that you will want to do everything you can to be visible, as A-holes will try to run you off the road all the time since they have a hard time seeing us in our small cars that are the same color of the road). What I think I have concluded is a good look for us DGM/Asphalt owners is stock tails that have been redded out. It looks pretty good in my opinion. Either that, or wait and see how much I like the new OEM tails that come on the 2017's..
