Hmmm if after the flash they cannot access ecu for logging thats not a good sign. Will be interesting to see if they can re-flash or access ecu. It is possible to stuff up the flash and have an ecu that runs car (usually badly) but you can no longer access via the can buss for diagnostics or reflash. If so you will likely need new ecu, hopefully thats not the case.
and if they stuffed it they should fix it.
