Like Mr.AC said, stock setup and size works well. I'm still on stock suspension, and you can't go much wider than 225's in the front (for added grip), and any bigger in the back and you won't be able easily get the back end out or continue a drift with stock power.
I've been running 205s & 215 width tires, mainly just going with what I can find cheapest. 17 inch is by far cheaper than 18 or 19.
