Ok,did this yesterday. Got my Ashiko shift knob from a member here on the forums.I decided to use some Duplicolor Removable Vinyl on it,mainly because I don't have window tints yet,and I didn't want to have the gear pattern burned into my hand like that Nazi from Raider Of The Lost Ark had that star burned into his hand.Plus the red looks better than the brushed nickel,imo,and this was cheaper than paying full price for a red one

If you look close enough I actually put a small scratch with my fingernail while trying to install it, but I'm sure another coat will will get rid of that.

Aside from dipping it,I have to say,I went from a stock knob,to a Blox,and now to this. Man,what a difference! I've read others say that shifting is so much smoother with this knob,but man,I didn't expect this thing to be this buttery! For me,the size is perfect,the weight is almost beyond perfect. I don't work for Raceseng,but if you have the money to blow,I would highly suggest picking one of these up.
