My only beef with Fumoto valves is you don't get it all out. Usually you can get one that doesn't stick out much past the pan, which is my secondary concern.
Crush washers are cheap (a dollar?), the Fumoto saves you a whopping 30 seconds each oil change for about a one time $15. I don't see there being a huge benefit, but I also don't see the drawbacks as being huge either.
