In regards to tires, yes. The WHEEL is what is the determining factor in how flush it sits to the body, specifically the offset. While the tire can have a role in the clearance, or the overall look of the setup, the wheel and alignment spec are what is going to have the final say.

I put in 18x9.5 +40 for the wheel size on both. The tire size is 265/35 on one, and 255/35 on the other. Notice that the wheel itself doesn't change, because the WHEEL specs didn't change. Because of the tire size changing, it minimally altered the overall diameter and the clearance, but that's it.

Again, wheel remains in the same spot, but the tire fitment onto the wheel itself has changed quite a bit. The stretching of the sidewall would allow for less camber, due to the added clearance, compared to a squared tire (265/35), but the wheel itself still hasn't changed in how it "fits".



The Todoroki fenders are a bit weird. Look at the picture of my car from the front. It looks like there's a bit of clearance under the front fenders. Then look at it from the rear. The front wheels look like they're dead on flush, maybe poking a couple mm's. The Todoroki's have this curve in them, that can alter the appearance of the wheel fitment, depending on where you look at it from. It was pretty much 100% flush with the fender, MAYBE poking a mm or two, but that's it.

As you can see, your setup would 14.1mm away from having the same fitment that mine did. I think it was said earlier that spacers aren't really an option, but I don't know. It also depends with what offset the wheels are before you even adjust the LCA.

On another note, if you could squeeze a 9j wheel, a +11 would be 1.3mm away from what mine was. I mean, I've seen a load of people in AUS using 9.5 and 10j wheels on their cars.

Yeah, my friend had 10.5 in the back but for another car. Really thanks a lot for that, it really helped clear a lot of things up.

Hopefully my final questions are, how were the fenders? Did you feel like they were worth it? Did it make a big difference and you fell in love, or was it more of a meh moment? Also, does the extension allow for body kits or just splitters to be installed? Even if it supports a body kit, I guess it might look weird all together because of how the extension looks.

Let's say I don't get the fenders. Strictly legal speaking I could use LCAs in front and rear to get perfect fitment on 8" wheels, and because they're 8" and I'm widening track width, would that mean less camber, or/and no fender rubbing?
