Watched some of Monaco on NBC Sports or whatever, blah. Must have cut out 1/3 of the race at least for commercials.

When I was watching F1 the BBC broadcasts were my absolute favorite sportscasting I've witnessed, no commercials, mostly intelligent commentators with fun commentary and relevant reporting. Speed channel was acceptable, I preferred it over Skysports actually mostly because of Buxton and Hobbes/Matchett and they usually kept the commercials to a minimum and would actually cut back if something exciting was happening.

Shame they're gone, I'd pay for access to the BBC broadcasts, a couple bucks a month to see Coulthard, Jordan, and Windsor or Buxton covering motorsports would be well spent if I could watch it on-demand, pretty sure I'd work from home Monday afternoons with it on in the background.

Cut the cord finally when I moved out of my parents house a few years back, Netflix, HBOGo, Amazon, Hulu, rent movies on Google Play shoot it to the TV via Chromecast in HD, 90% of what I really want to watch is accessible without picking up a >$50 TV bill every month.
