I can see where you might think so, and I am often of the "If you are asking you cant do it" school. But one reality about fabrication is that it often comes down to shop space and tools. Not everyone has the cash and space to house the benders, cutters ,and welding equipment required for making the hard-parts.

Acquiring the tools and doing the mechanical fabrication for my swap has reduced a four car shop to a one car shop.


With the electro-mechanical challenges involved beyond mounts, cooling and exhaust, I can see where subcontracting the hardware fabrication is a way to go.



As to the OP's question...Buy the Vorshlag kit. Those guys present as engineers and business people as opposed to the rest who come across as talented enthusiast. Vorslhag does other kits, so they know what their clients want in a kit (and what they dont want) and they have a track record of providing that plus the support needed to finish the job. I bet they are not the least expensive.
