This is why CSG Mike absolutely, categorically refuses to recommend a fixed back seat to someone without a roll cage, or a roll cage to someone without a fixed back seat, or a harness with a reclining seat, or OEM belts with a cage. In an accident, if one thing moves and the other doesn't, bad things happen to the person in between. So either it can all flex (reclining seat, no cage, OEM belts), or it's all solid (fixed back seat, cage, harnesses), but you shouldn't mix between the two.
