corry29 Why not? Haha, I've lease this one because I know I will change it after 3 years anyway ! I pay less, have a new car with some new goodies every 3 years = win. Even after 3 years, my cars look like new with about 30K Km, no winter, with a brand new suspension/exhaust (since I've changed everything after 3 week lol) So it make a damn good used car for the dealer ! I may offer this one at someone at my local FR-S/BRZ community too.
For the radio yeah it's almost bolt on. Connector are the same, the only thing you got to do is to tap the Amp signal with a switched 12V, since the Corolla radio don't give any signals to the AMP wire. My radio is from a 2013 Corolla, 2012 could fit too. Some other Toyota's have this similar headunit but it's kind of rare to find it with the "App" button !
I've lost some features, like the voice command but I don't use it anyway. And the ability to put the language in French since the radio is from US. I've gain an equalizer and it sound really great ! And no more Scion splash screen, booya !
For the floor mat I did it simple, I've removed the FR-S logo on them. It's cleaner that way IMO. They leave small hole, but you wet the fabric and you can replace it correcly.
For the trunk mat, actually from factory it don't have any logo. But I've got lucky and found a Release 1.0 TRD trunk mat + a new spair tire for... 20 bucks. And It's brand new. The red TRD logo fit really well with the car when I pop the trunk
So yeah, It's a really close to perfection conversion ! Next one will be a real 86 tho !
