That's it, the entire procedure will essentially "flush" everything including the torque converter, don't settle for anything else otherwise it a sub par job. Also remember don't let anyone use one of those crappy flushing machines AZP performance has seen cars that have had bent torque converter fins because of that. The above procedure should be the only thing done.
Like I mentioned I wasn't there to see what he did. I saw that he opened the unused gallon of ATF but never used it. So I have a gallon of opened ATF sitting in my garage. That being said, I don't think that he followed the procedure that you listed. I'm pretty sure that he just drained and filled until it overflowed, then stopped.
