My last set of tires had more wear on the edge. Got a new set and went for alignment.

I have stock suspension with Front Camber plate and rear LCA.

I asked the shop for increased camber and he asked what tires I was running. I am using 200TW street tires, right now AD08R. He said in his experience more than ~2.5 front/2.0 rear on street tires isn't beneficial. He recommended I get some suspension upgrades, at least stiffer springs and if coils he recommended RCE Tarmac 2. The reasoning being even if I increase camber the soft stock suspension is still going to cause edge wear on the tires.

Does this sound reasonable? I was hoping not to spend a lot of $ on suspension.
