Had to do a small "repair" job on my high mount brake light today. I should have taken pictures, but the double sided tape that is supplied isn't really the best. I ordered some 3m VHB double sided tape good for 300 degrees. It seemed that with my car sitting in the sun the tape that was supplied was releasing and it hung from the tab mount, looked horrible. So I pulled all the tape off and replaced it with the higher temp tape and it feels much stronger. I don't think the heat will cause it to release anymore =D. If anyone wants to know, it was 3M Scotch 4611 VHB Tape that I used to replace the old tape.
