The "forever" in that range for me is somewhere around one second, maybe two if I wasn't trying very hard. This has never once impacted my ability to do anything I wanted while daily driving on the streets. I personally can not imagine any street driving scenarios where people are driving around between 5 and 7K ALL the time. If I had not seen the dynos I would doubt I would ever have even known it was there.

On the street no, the torque dip doesn't limit you in any way. The power you have under it is still enough for DD. My 93hp del sol did just fine. But if you are hammering on it, it(torque dip) is pretty annoying
